قاعدة في نصوص الكتاب والسنة

قال العلامة عبيد الجابري رحمه الله:

وذلكم أن هذه القاعدة بين الشارح رحمه الله بها أن الواجب في نصوص الأسماء والصفات إمرارها على ظاهرها وفق اللسان العربي


وهذه القاعدة ليست خاصة بأمور العقائد بل هي عامة حتى في الأحكام العملية


فإذا أردت -يا طالب العلم- أن تستدل على حكم من الأحكام ثم ظهر منازع لك ينازعك في هذا الحكم والاستدلال عليه، فاجعل أمامه هذه القاعدة: ما الأصل في النصوص؟

والجواب هو: أن الأصل فيها هو إرادة الظاهر المتبادر إلى الذهن منها وفق اللسان العربي عند الإطلاق.


والاستدلال بآية (الأعراف) واضح، والشاهد من آية (الأعراف) {وأن تقولوا على الله ما لا تعلمون} فصرف الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية عن ظاهرها هو من القول على الله ورسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم بلا علم؛ فوجب إذن إبقاء دلالة النصوص عامة ونصوص الصفات خاصة على ظاهرها

A Principle Regarding the Texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah

The eminent scholar, Ubayd Al-Jabiri (may Allah have mercy on him), said:

"This principle that the explainer (may Allah have mercy on him) clarified is that it is obligatory to interpret the texts of the names and attributes based on their apparent meanings according to the Arabic language.

This principle is not exclusive to matters of creed but is also general to practical rulings.

So, if you - O seeker of knowledge - want to deduce a ruling and someone disputes with you regarding this ruling and its evidence, present this principle to them: What is the original meaning of the texts? 

The answer is: The original meaning is the apparent meaning that comes to mind according to the Arabic language when released.

The evidence from the verse in Surah Al-A'raf is clear, and the witness from the verse in Surah Al-A'raf: {and that you should say against Allâh what you know not.} is that diverting the Qur'anic verses and prophetic hadiths from their apparent meanings is speaking about Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) without knowledge; thus, it is obligatory to keep the general and specific indications of the texts on their apparent meanings."
